57 recalls for 27 Mercedes-Benz models in 2020
In 2020, Mercedes-Benz announced 57 recalls for 27 models through the EU Rapex system.
38 of the Mercedes’ recalls announced concerns passenger cars, 16 commercial vehicles and vans, and three the X-Class pick-up.
The most recalled Mercedes and the car with the most recalls in 2020 were the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, whose owners were invited to the service ten times. The Mercedes C-Class and E-Class had six recalls each.
In the SUV category, the GLB and GLE models had the most problems. Each of them made five entries in the recalls list.
Among the vans, Mercedes Sprinter was the most recalled with seven issues. The smaller Vito / V-Class had five recalls.
