9 recalls for 7 Skoda models in 2019

In 2019, Skoda Auto announced nine recalls involving seven models through the EU Rapex system. The Octavia (5) and Karoq (4) were the most recalled models.

We’ve sorted all 2019 recalls according to the model into a table below.

Compared to the previous two years, Skoda announced three times more recalls in 2019. Several models had problems with seats, headrests or airbags. Large recalls related to petrol engines also appear with other VW Group brands.

Tip: Check the vehicle’s history by VIN

Octavia had two smaller recalls due to the front springs and the side windows, while Superb II models must visit the service centers for a possible LED turn signal defect.
