6 recalls for 7 Lexus models in 2019

In 2019, Lexus announced 6 recalls involving 7 models through the EU Rapex system. The ES, LS500 and UX had two recalls each.

We’ve sorted all 2019 recalls according to the model into a table below.

The brake booster pump motor may stop working with the ES300h (AXZH10), UX250h (MZAH10, MZAH15), LC500h (GWZ100), LC500 (URZ100) and LS500/500h (GVF55) models manufactured between April to June 2019. As a result, the braking assistance could be lost completely after several attempts to apply the brake pedal.

Tip: Check the vehicle’s history by VIN

The emergency calling system may not be correctly installed with the UX and ES models produced between 8/2018 to 4/2019. The Lexus CT200h manufactured in the Q1/2019 may have a problem with the damper rod on the rear door. Several models were recalled due to a defect in the airbag inflator.
