Lexus: 2 recalls involving 3 models in 2017

Lexus issued two recalls involving three of its models in 2017 according to the Rapex database. The first recall affected the NX model, while the second involved the IS model. The oldest recalled car was Lexus IS produced in 2003.

The NX’s 200 and 300h versions could have problem with the automatic application of the parking brake. If the issue occurs with a gear other than “Park” or “Reverse”, the vehicle may start moving.

Issues with deployment of the driver and/or passenger airbag could appear in Lexus IS models produced between 2003-2016. The relevant production years are shown in the link under each model.
