Faulty production of high-voltage batteries may lead to high-voltage cell modules overheating, which increases the risk of fire with BMW i3s manufactured from October 2018 to August 2021. There is also a fire risk due to a broken circuit in the electrical connection of the auxiliary battery with the Fiat 500 Hybrid produced between January 26 and June 3, 2022. You can also check out the other EV/Hybrids recalls.
Other models being recalled this week due to fire risk are the Citroens C4, Jumpy and Spacetourer, which may have a faulty high-voltage wiring harness. The 427 cars built in March and April 2022 are recalled.
