Which Citroën models are being recalled in 2019?

25 recalls for 14 Citroën models in 2019

In 2019, Citroën announced 25 recalls involving 14 models through the EU Rapex system. The Jumpy and Spacetourer had the most defects, while C4 Cactus the most recalls.

We’ve sorted all 2019 recalls according to the model into a table below.

Citroën’s most failing cars are still the Jumpy (Dispatch) and Spacetourer vans. In 2019, there were four more recalls with eight new faults to solve.

Citroën also had a large recall for its smallest C1 model. The glue that adheres the windowpane to the rear door could come loose with cars manufactured from May 2005 to November 2013.

Tip: Check the vehicle’s history by VIN

The particulate filter can be damaged with the C3, C4 Cactus, C4 Picasso, C-Elysée, Spacetourer, and Jumpy models manufactured from late 2017 to mid-2018. Some other models (C3 Picasso, C4 Picasso, C4, DS3, DS4, DS5) ) may also exceed the permissible limit of nitrogen oxides. We didn’t save this recall with the Rapex code A12/1592/19 to our archive, as well as some other minor recalls with a production scale of only several days.

Citroën is trying to present the DS Division as a standalone brand, but on the other hand, it reports the recalls to the Rapex itself. After all, the faults are the same as with the other Citroëns. That’s why we have DS3 and DS7 Crossback in this overview.
