This week’s recalls:

Seven recalls for 21 models of seven makes were announced via Rapex in the 24th week of 2023. Five more recalls were announced by the German Motor Vehicle Authority (KBA).
The manufacturers BMW, Citroen, DS Automobiles, Lamborghini, Opel, Peugeot and Volkswagen have one recall each at Rapex.
Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Land Rover and Mercedes-Benz are also recalling through the KBA.

We wrote about the problems with the brake booster on Stellantis cars back in the autumn of 2020 in the article Peugeot and Citroën to recall 1.2-litre petrol engines. The brake booster may fail and also a year later, in the article PSA Group (Citroen, Opel, Peugeot) reports more problems with timing belts.
Back then these cars rolled off the assembly line between March 2013 and April 2017. The new recalls apply to cars built between 2017 and 2019 at Citroën and 2017 – 2020 at Peugeot. Although the lack of vacuum pump lubrication is mentioned this time, the problem is still the same – a timing belt in oil.
