22 recalls for fourteen Toyota models in 2020
In 2020, Toyota announced 22 recalls for fourteen models through the EU Rapex system.
Six campaigns concerned the Yaris model. Most of them were due to airbags and seat belts, but Toyota also recalled the Yaris due to headlights or a fuel leak with the limited version of the Yaris GRMN.
The front lower arms may break with RAV4 models manufactured in September and October 2019, the right drive shaft of the C-HR hybrid from January 2020 may also break. The wind deflector on Corolla‘s panoramic roof can fall on the road with vehicles manufactured at the turn of 2018 and 2019.
The Toyota ProAce is based on Peugeot and Citroën vans, so it’s no wonder that it also shares numerous recalls with them. All the recalls sorted by models are listed in the tables below.
