Fifteen recalls for eleven Renault models in 2020
In 2020, Renault announced fifteen recalls for eleven models through the EU Rapex system.
Renault recalled the Captur four times. The most extensive action is due to the positive battery cable, which may come into contact with the heat sink on the alternator. This can lead to a short circuit and fire. Captur and Clio models manufactured between 2013 – 2019 may be affected.
Both models may also have a problem with the power steering. In addition, the Captur may lose its panoramic glass roof, while the Espace may lose its rear spoiler while driving.
About 25,000 Megane, Scenic and Talisman models have to be serviced due to a possible fuel leak.
