This week’s recalls:

– Citroën Jumpy + Spacetourer – brakes, seatbelts, moisture
– Audi, BMW, VW – airbags
22 recalls for 14 models were issued by seven carmakers in the 24th week of 2020 through the Rapex system. Four recalls were announced by Peugeot and Citroën, while two by Audi. BMW, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen issued one recall each.
The rear brake hoses may be attached incorrectly and can be damaged, the bolts on the safety belts are not correctly screwed, the front wheel arches may be inadequately sealed, the defective rear brake callipers will impair the functioning of the parking brake – these are another faults with the Peugeot Expert, Peugeot Traveler, Citroën Jumpy and Citroën Spacetourer. In total, they already have about twenty recalls each on their account.
Recalls Overview:
Several older models from 1997 – 1999 are recalled by Audi, BMW, and Volkswagen due to Takata airbag inflators. Audi is also adding the Q3 model from 2019 – 2020, in which the passenger’s airbag does not have to penetrate the dashboard if activated.
For the second time in a short period, Bentley appears in the list of recalls, this time with the Bentayga model.
