Also for 2019, we prepared a detailed overview of all the recalls announced through the Rapex alert system. From the extensive material, we have picked a list of cars whose owners were invited to the service most often.
42 carmakers announced a total of 380 recalls for 299 different models via the Rapex Rapid Alert System in 2019. The vast majority of these recalls are the voluntary measures taken by the carmakers that they themselves reported to the Rapex system. We should appreciate the fact that these brands admitted their mistakes and are trying to solve them. Not all of the others are doing it that way.
Six or more recalls were reported with 11 models of six brands. The other 12 models had five recalls, 16 were recalled four times, and 46 models had three recalls – see our detailed summary.
