16 recalls for 15 Peugeot models
Peugeot has announced sixteen recalls in 2021 through the Rapex system, affecting fifteen of its models.
Five recalls were issued for the Peugeot Traveller minivan and just one less for the Expert. Both also involved Peugeot’s largest recall due to premature wear of timing belts. The 3,500 Peugeot 3008s and 5008s from 2016 to 2020 may have had a poorly welded towbar. Over 10,000 Peugeot Partner/Rifter and 508s have been recalled for possible fuel leaks.
All the recalls, sorted by model, are listed in the tables below.
We have written about some of the faults in the following articles.
- Citroen and Peugeot recall 22 models, but only in selected markets (week 32/21)
- PSA Group (Citroen, Opel, Peugeot) reports more problems with timing belts
- Towbars could break on Peugeot and Citroën SUVs, another recall for Mercedes GLB (week 19/21)
- Ford re-recalls 10 000 Focuses; poorly tightened wheels with Peugeot and Citroen (week 9/21)
