19 recalls for 11 Opel models
Opel has announced nineteen recalls in 2021 through the Rapex system, affecting eleven of its models.
The Opel Grandland was recalled seven times in 2021. Two of the recalls concerned a possible fault in the towbar; the others are related to the powertrain or chassis. Four recalls were issued for the Corsa. Problems with the suspension, airbags and incorrect wheel size may be present.
The brake pedal footplate could break with just under six thousand Opel Insignias built between February and April 2021. The Opel Vivaro and Zafira Life have adopted the technology of their French cousins, with all the pains that accompany their production. The reasons for the recalls are the same as for Peugeot and Citroen.
