Eight recalls for six Mazda models in 2021
Mazda has announced eight recalls in 2021 through the Rapex system, affecting six of its models.
Mazda announced three recalls for the Mazda3. Over a quarter of a million older cars can injure crew with logo fragments on the steering wheel. Newer Mazda3s may have problems with the tailgate controls or the Smart Brake Support system. The Mazda CX-30 has also been recalled with both issues.
The electric Mazda MX-30 also had the first two recalls in 2021. The defects with the Mazda CX-5‘s SCR system and the fuel pump of the other 150,000 vehicles are not yet listed in the Rapex system, but we wrote about it towards the end of the year – see below.
