21 recalls for 18 Citroen & DS models in 2021
Citroen has announced 21 recalls affecting 18 Citroen & DS models in 2021 via the Rapex system.
Citroen is trying to present the DS as a standalone brand but recalls for its previously premium line continue to be announced by the parent manufacturer. That’s why we have both brands in a joint review.
As with last year, PSA’s largest recall was over possible timing belt wear and subsequent damage to the vacuum pump and brake booster on its 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engines – see a link to the article below. In addition, there have been problems with, for example, wheel or towbar mounting.
All the recalls sorted by the model are listed in the tables below.
