17 recalls for 17 BMW models in 2021
BMW has announced 17 recalls in 2021 via Rapex, affecting 17 of its models.
The most recalled in 2021 were the related BMW X5 and X6 SUVs. BMW also recalled a relatively large number of older models, particularly the 3-Series, either for Takata airbags or for fire risk. Nine models were affected by the recall due to a possible fault in the hydraulic unit of the braking system.
