Four recalls for three Mitsubishi models in 2020
In 2020, Mitsubishi announced four recalls for three models through the EU Rapex system.
Due to the same defect, two recalls can be found with the electric Mitsubishi i-MiEV produced between 2010 to 2019. Due to inadequate sealing, water can ingress into the brake vacuum pump, causing internal corrosion. Failure of the pump would reduce the brake booster assistance and increase the stopping distance.
The right-hand side front lower arm might break due to improper welding with the 2017 and 2018 Pajero. The 2020 Outlander may have a defective seat belt in the rear seat.
