Infiniti: 2 recalls involving 2 models in 2017

Last update 16. 02. 2024

Infinity issued two recalls affecting two of its models in 2017 according to the Rapex database. Both Infiniti Q30s and QX30s were recalled due to airbags, their inflators and the control unit, respectively.

The Infiniti QX30 is a crossover based on the Q30 hatchback and both are being made at a Sunderland factory in the UK. This is the reason why the recall affected both of these cars.

The first airbag issue was caused by the incorrect mixing ratio of chemicals in a detonator of the inflator, while the second airbag-related problem involved an incorrectly programmed control unit. The relevant production years are shown in the link under each model.
