The impeller in the low-pressure fuel pump may become deformed causing fuel pumping failure. This may result in the engine not starting and/or stalling, increasing the risk of an accident.
The Mazda 6 vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 6. 4. 2018 – 24. 10. 2018 / 13. 4.2018 – 23. 10. 2018 / 8. 5. 2018 – 5. 12. 2018.
