Last update 16. 02. 2024

Lancia announced five recalls in 2017 affecting 3 models according to Rapex. The Thema and Ypsilon models were recalled twice while the Flavia convertible was recalled once. The 2011 Lancia Thema was the oldest vehicle recalled.

Lancia Thema’s made in April 2014 may have a problem with unsecured screws on the drive shaft which turned out to be the cause the June 2017 recall. The second recall affecting the same model came in August and was issued over a passenger airbag issue.

In the same month, Lancia Ypsilon was recalled for the first time over a possible seat belt pretensioner failure. In September, its owners were informed about another recall but this time to check the Isofix handle which could be poorly welded.

The Lancia Flavia may have a problem with incorrectly detecting the front seat occupancy and deactivating the airbag. The relevant production years are shown in the link under each model.
