Seven recalls for three Jeep models in 2021
Jeep has announced seven recalls in 2021 through the Rapex system, affecting three of its models.
Five of the recalls concerned the Jeep Wrangler. It was recalled twice for an under-dimensioned clutch pressure plate, once for a fuel line defect and once for a brake system module software issue.
With 34,334 Jeep Grand Cherokees manufactured from December 2012 through January 2019, cracks can develop in the EGR cooler, and leaking glycol can increase the risk of fire.
All the recalls, sorted by model, are listed in the tables below.
We have written about some of the faults in the following articles.
- Three recalls for Land Rovers, one for Jaguar. Dodge and Jeep are also recalling (week 38/21)
- Mercedes and Jeep recall tens of thousands of cars over fire risk (week 20/21)
