Withdrawal: EcoFlow River 600 power station can cause electric shock

Electric shock can occur when using the EcoFlow River 600 power station.

“The electrical insulation, as well as the clearance /creepage distances between the primary and accessible secondary circuits, are not sufficient. The user could receive an electric shock from accessible (live) parts,” warns Rapex in its Alert A12/00936/22. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standards EN 62040-1, EN 60950-1, and EN 62368-1.

The EcoFlow River 600 (type EF4) is a portable power station with a battery, AC input, AC socket output and multiple DC outputs (USB). The product can be used as an Uninterrupted Power Source. The product is also sold online.

The notifying country is Finland, and the measures ordered by the public authorities are the withdrawal of the product from the market and recall of the product from end-users.
