Volvo XC40: Possible failure of the indicator function

Volvo is recalling 104,972 units of the XC40 model built in 2023 to authorised dealerships worldwide. The reason for the recall is a possible temporary failure of the left rear indicator function.

The remedy is a software update for the central electronics module. This can be carried out via an OTA update or with the authorised workshop.

The KBA monitors the recall under the reference number “013373“. The internal manufacturer code is “R10256“.
