Volvo recalls 220,000 diesel-powered cars due to a fuel leakage

Volvo recalls several models with diesel engine due to a possible crack in the fuel line. Combined with a high-pressure fuel system, fuel leakage may occur over time.

The recall with an internal code “29904” began on 20 December 2018 and consists in replacing a potentially leaking diesel fuel line.

The repair should take about 30 minutes and the fuel line will be replaced free of charge by authorized Volvo service. Here you can find Volvo authorized workshops in the UK.

The recall concerns 219,413 vehicles worldwide, with 30,777 in the UK, and affects the following models:
