Volkswagen is recalling 7,590 Caddy vehicles manufactured in 2024 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is an incorrect screwing of the rear left brake line that can lead to loss of brake fluid and impairment of braking performance.
In an authorised workshop, the affected screw connection must be checked and reworked.
The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference numbers “14072R“, “14261R” and “14646R“. The internal manufacturer codes are “47U8“, “47VX” and “47VY“.
