We have been monitoring vehicle recalls by manufacturers since 2016. Every week, we add around ten new recall records to our database.
Our source for information about vehicle recalls is the Safety Gate – the EU rapid alert system for dangerous non-food products and the German Motor Transport Authority (Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt – KBA).
Every year, we publish a detailed summary of all vehicle recalls with a table by make and number of recalls, which you can find in our Annual Reports category.
Every week we publish a new article with an overview of the vehicle recalls, which we send out to thousands of interested parties via our Newsletter. Thousands more follow us on Facebook and Twitter, where we highlight new recalls as soon as they are announced.

When you find the make of your car in the table below and the model on the next page, see if you can find any information about its reliability. You can also read (or write) Owners’ reviews in our special section.
For the vast majority of makes, we also provide a link to a page from which you can copy a sample Check Recalls Request and find the contact details about your nearest authorised dealer.
