Two recalls for Dodge RAM – fuel pump and ESP

Dodge is recalling 161,357 vehicles of the RAM model series manufactured between 12. 6. 2013 and 13. 12. 2019. The reason for the recall is a failure of the high-pressure fuel pump that can lead to loss of drive.

At an authorised workshop, the high-pressure fuel pump will be replaced and the fuel system will be checked. If necessary, additional components of the fuel system will be replaced.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “15199R“. The internal manufacturer code is “Z46“.

The second recall is for 39,047 RAM pickups manufactured between 13. 10. 2023 and 11. 8. 2024. Damaged sensor rings in the front wheel bearing can lead to loss of the wheel speed signal and thus to failure of the ESP without any discernible warning to the driver.

At an authorised workshop, the front wheel hub assemblies are checked and replaced if necessary.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14939R“. The internal manufacturer code is “97B“.
