Two recalls for the Alfa Romeo Junior

Alfa Romeo is recalling 6,486 vehicles of the Junior model series manufactured in 2024. The reason for the recall is that the Matrix LED headlights may be equipped with a non-functioning headlight levelling system.

At an authorised workshop, the teach-in procedure for the control module of the matrix headlights is carried out.

The second recall involves 6,786 Juniors also built in 2024: Incorrect calibration of the electric power steering can cause the lane departure warning system to switch off automatically when cornering at speed (>90 km/h).

In this case, the calibration of the electric power steering is updated.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference numbers “14788R“ and “14900R“. The internal manufacturer codes are “6968“ and “6977“.

What should an owner do if there's a recall?

Please note that the recall may not apply to all vehicles produced in a given period. If you think your car might be affected, you should immediately contact a dealer or workshop officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details. You can use our sample request text. After reporting the vehicle's VIN code, you will find out if the defect is present on your car, or if it has already been resolved by the previous owner if the car was purchased second-hand.

If you wish to know more about the eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accident damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), in that case, we suggest going to this page.

Do you know the year Your car was made? You most likely don't.
