Toyota Highlander: The lower front bumper cover can come off

Toyota is recalling 894,891 Highlander vehicles manufactured between 2019 and 2023 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that an incorrect fastening can cause the front bumper and underride guard to come loose and enter the traffic area.

In an authorised workshop, the affected components must be checked and replaced if necessary.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “013304“. The internal manufacturer code is “23SD-116“.
