Three Toyota models at risk of fire due to faulty fuel pump

Toyota is recalling 10,325 Auris, C-HR and Corolla vehicles manufactured between 2018 and 2022 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is an incorrect inspection during the first recall. A faulty fuel pump can lead to fuel leakage and consequently increase the risk of fire.

In an authorized workshop, the high-pressure fuel pump will be rechecked and replaced if necessary.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14643R“. The internal manufacturer code is “24SD-149“.
