The reason for the recall is a manufacturing defect in the steering gear. As a result, it causes the steering to lock.

Worldwide, 192 vehicles of the V60CC, V90CC, XC60 and XC90 model series manufactured between 2018 and 2022 will have to go back to the workshop. In Germany, 20 vehicles are affected.

The steering gear is replaced in the workshop. The monitored recall runs under the KBA reference number “012444” and the internal designation is “R10213”.
