Starting difficulties and loss of drive with five Opel models

Opel is recalling 18,030 vehicles of the Combo, Corsa, Mokka, Vivaro and Zafira model series manufactured between 2022 and 2023. The reason for the recall is a software error in the battery management system that can lead to starting difficulties and loss of propulsion while driving.

At an authorised workshop, the BMU software is updated.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14992R“. The internal manufacturer code is “KRB“.
