Risk of increased braking distance with Suzuki Swace

Suzuki is recalling 11,268 Swace vehicles manufactured between 2023 and 2024 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that software error leads to inadequate control of the brake fluid when cornering, which can cause the pedal to harden and increase the braking distance.

In an authorized workshop, the brake actuator software will be updated.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14612R“. The internal manufacturer code is “99XR“.
