Risk of immobilizer failure in Peugeot 208 and 2008

Peugeot is recalling 3,546 208 and 2008 vehicles manufactured between 17 March and 5 September 2023 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that the engine control unit is not properly connected to the body control unit, which may result in a malfunction of the immobilizer.

In an authorized workshop, affected vehicles will be repaired.
