Renault Austral: ABS-ESP warning messages not displayed

Renault is recalling 24,112 vehicles of the Austral model series manufactured between 2022 and 2025. The reason for the recall is an incorrect programming of the ABS-ESP control unit that can result in warning messages not being displayed.

At an authorised workshop, as a precautionary measure, the technical process consists of reprogramming the ABS-ESP computer.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14971R“. The internal manufacturer code is “0EN9“.
