The joint on the discharge nozzle of the gas generator for the curtain airbag might have been inappropriately welded.

In the event of an accident triggering the curtain airbag, the joint could fail impairing the proper inflation of the airbag, increasing the risk of injuries.

The Volkswagen T-Cross models affected by this recall were manufactured between 20. 5. 2019 – 21. 6. 2019.
