The predetermined break point in the cushion for the side airbags is on the wrong side. In the event of a crash, the side airbag may not inflate properly, thus not provide protection and increase the risk of an injury.

The VW Caddy models affected by this recall were produced between 10. 7. 2018 – 29. 10. 2018.
