The metal seat belt anchor bracket on the rear centre seat may be improperly manufactured.

As a result, the seat belt may become damaged by the bracket’s sharp edge during an impact of a collision, impairing it’s protective function and increasing the risk of injury.

The Toyota Yaris models affected by this recall were manufactured between 6 July and 3 October 2020.
