Reason for the recall:
Due to a manufacturing error, sharp edges at the upper part of the metal structure of the front seats may cause occupants of the rear seat injuries in case of an accident.
The Toyota Highlander vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 6 December 2019 and 17 June 2021.
