Defective straps could affect the proper deployment of the front portion of the Curtain Shield Airbags, which may cause and fail to prevent injuries in the event of an accident.

The Toyota bZ4X vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 2 November 2021 and 15 June 2022.
