Cracks in the casing of the steering column could lead to fatigue rupture of the casing. This could lead to the controls under the steering wheel (indicators, lights, wipers) becoming jammed and difficult to operate. In case of rupture due to bending in the event of an impact, it could affect the steering.

The recall concerns vehicles manufactured between 8 November 2016 and 9 December 2016 inclusive.
