Reason for the recall:
As a result of a production error, the cross member of the front seat structure has been welded incorrectly. This could lead to the seat not having the required crash behaviour in the event of an accident, increasing the risk of an injury.
The Opel Astra models affected by this recall were manufactured in July and August 2019.
