Reason for the recall:

1. The wiring harness for the starter generator may wear through and lead to an electrical short circuit, this could result in a cable fire increasing the risk of an accident.

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 16 June and 16 August 2021.
