Mercedes-Benz S-Class (2020 – 2021)

Due to defective fixing, the electrical connection between the 48V or 12V wiring harness and the support point may be sporadically interrupted. This could result in electrical arcing, leading to an increased risk of fire. Furthermore, if the electrical connection were completely interrupted, the vehicle could not be started.

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 24 August 2020 and 24 February 2021.
