Reason for the recall:
The curtain airbag support at the B-pillar level may be defective and not deploy properly in the event of an accident. The B-pillar cladding could detach, thus increasing the risk of injury to vehicle occupants in the event of an accident.
The Mercedes-Benz GLC vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between August and October 2022.
