The polycarbonate panel located between the windscreen and the panoramic sunroof may not have been bonded correctly to the vehicle. As a result, it can become detached from the vehicle and fall onto the road, potentially causing an accident.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 24 February and 16 July 2021.
