Water may ingress into the high voltage battery due to insufficient sealing of the battery casing and possible corrosion.

As a result, the vehicle may not be able to start and furthermore, this could lead to increased risk of fire.

The Mercedes-Benz eVito affected by this recall were manufactured between 11 December 2019 and 12 May 2020.
