Reason for the recall:
Due to excessive internal pressure, the housing of the driver airbag gas generator can burst when the airbag is activated. This can cause the occupants of the vehicle to be injured by metal splinters.
The recall affects vehicles manufactured between 3 June 2002 and 31 June 2005.
