Kia Sportage (2022 – 2023)

accident brakes

The vacuum pump in the engine may be damaged by a mechanical defect on the camshaft due to high acceleration torque when the engine starts. As a result, an increased force may be required to apply the brake pedal, which may increase braking distance. This increases the risk of accidents and injuries.

The Kia Sportage vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 8 September 2022 and 14 June 2023.
