Reason for the recall:
The Hydraulic Electronic Control Unit (HECU) module could malfunction and cause an electrical short circuit. This could result in an engine compartment fire.
The Kia Sportage vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 15 May 2013 and 17 November 2015.
